Insight Into Alzheimers and Other Memory Disorders

This workshop is designed to be informative and useful for all health professionals who work with older adults, as well as anyone (including family members and caregivers) who is interested in the latest information and developments regarding memory disorders.

Special Guest Speaker

Jeffrey Cummings, MD, is the Director of the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Las Vegas and Cleveland.

Dr. Cummings’ research interests are in the development of biomarkers for the early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease, and the development of therapeutic drugs and approaches to treat neurodegenerative diseases. He has written numerous books and peer-reviewed papers, and has received international recognition for his groundbreaking work.

Continuing Education Credits

The Wyoming Geriatric Education Center (WyGEC) has applied for CEUs and CMEs for qualified workshop participants. Continuing education credits will be provided at no extra cost to attendees. More information will be posted on the WyGEC website as approvals for credits are finalized.
