End-of-Life Care Workshop

An educational workshop on end-of-life care for all healthcare disciplines

When:

February 19, 2014 7:45AM - 5:00PM or February 21, 2014 7:45 - 5:00PM THE SAME WORKSHOP SCHEDULE WILL BE REPEATED ON BOTH DAYS.

*Please Note: This training will not be recorded as it contains copy written material.  You MUST attend in person at the time of the training.

Where:

Sheridan College 3059 Coffeen Avenue, Sheridan, WY

Who:

Physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, social workers, case managers, counselors, therapists, chaplains, certified nurse's aids, students in the health field and anyone who works with patients and their families at the end-of-life.

What:

The training will feature the Education in Palliative and End-of-Life Care (EPEC) Curriculum.  The training will be delivered by certified EPEC trainers, Linda Stone-Soukup, MSN, NP-C and Brenda Mosher, RN, BSN, MSN, NP-C. Greg Marino, MD will also be a guest speaker on both days of the training.

Continuing Education:

This workshop is approved for for 0.7 CEU or 7 nursing contact hours by the Wyoming Hospital Association.

Cost:

$50.00 Regular Registration     $35.00 Student Registration   All types include breakfast, lunch, and break food.
