The Men of Pi Kappa Phi are emerging leaders throughout campus. As the
University of Wyoming's newest Greek chapter, the Pi Kapps are a young
but dedicated group striving to change the face of fraternity. The
opportunities presented by Pi Kappa Phi are numerous, and one of the
most unique is the chance to be a founding father of a fraternity. As a
founding father your name will be on our charter for the men of
following generations to admire, and will forever stand as a testament
to the hard work you put into starting your own fraternity!
The Men of Pi Kappa Phi are active in all areas of campus life including
marching band, ASUW Student Government, ROTC, club and intramural
sports, and numerous professional and honorary societies. We encourage
all of our members to join a recognized student organization outside of
the Fraternity because we understand that you came to the University of
Wyoming to receive an education, not join a fraternity. Academics
therefore are also a large part of our fraternity involvement with study
groups and a good teacher/bad teacher list available to our members.
The UW Pi Kapps are very dedicated to service. Pi Kappa Phi is the only
national fraternity to have started and currently maintain and operate
our own national philanthropy, Push America. Push America serves people
with disabilities nationwide by raising funds and awareness. To date Pi
Kappa Phi has raised over $7.5 million for people with disabilities.
Locally, we have partnered with Special Olympics Wyoming.
Lastly, and most importantly, Pi Kappa Phi has been a non-hazing
fraternity since 1936. We have a strict zero tolerance hazing policy,
and guarantee you will never be the victim of hazing as a member of Pi
Kappa Phi.
