2004 UW Homecoming Parade and Sing Winners

Oct. 11, 2004 -- Tri Delta and Sigma Phi Epsilon received the grand award for the outstanding float in the University of Wyoming's Homecoming parade Saturday, Oct. 9.

The UW Student Alumni Association announced the runners-up were Pi Beta Phi and Lambda Chi Alpha. Other parade winners were:

-- The Wyoming Union was the sweepstakes winner for best small float. Runner-up were the Office of the Registrar.

-- Fellowship of Christian Athletes won for the most original float. Runner-up was Sigma Alpha Epsilon.

-- The best of theme award went to Kappa Delta Pi. Runner-up was Sigma Alpha Epsilon.

-- The Laramie High School Band won the off-campus marching award. Runner-up was the Laramie Junior High School Band.

-- Corral West Ranchwear won the award for off-campus commercial, with Fantastic Sam's as runner-up.

Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority was the overall winner in the annual Homecoming Sing, sponsored by Iron Skull, the junior class service honor society. Chi Omega won the Women's Division, while Sigma Phi Epsilon won the Men's Division.
