Halloween Safe Treats at UW

Oct. 30, 2003 -- The University of Wyoming offers numerous safe activities for Halloween on Friday, Oct. 31, beginning at 3 p.m. Safe Treat 2003 will take place in the Wyoming Union, on Sorority and Fraternity rows and in the residence halls.

The union will have trick-or-treating and games from 3-6 p.m. Activities on Sorority and Fraternity rows will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Pi Beta Phi will have trick-or-treating, Kappa Kappa Gamma will have a human maze, Delta Delta Delta will decorate cookies and Chi Omega will have games.

Residence hall activities are from 6-8 p.m. Downey Hall will have trick-or-treating; White Hall will have a doughnut eating contest and a throw-a-pie-at-an-RA's-face event. Orr Hall will have pumpkin carving, and McIntyre Hall will have a haunted house.

The events are sponsored by the Wyoming Union, residence halls and Greek Life. For more information, call (307) 766-3161.
