Dr. Mark Northam is the Director for the School of Energy Resources. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Northam brings broad energy research, operations, and administration experience to the School of Energy Resources and the University of Wyoming. His expertise includes energy exploration and development, basin analysis, organic geochemistry, and carbon management. Prior to joining UW, Dr. Northam worked in the energy industry for over 20 years with Exxon Mobil, Mobil, and Saudi Aramco in both domestic and international assignments.
