Lauren Colwell

Lauren Colwell is a M.S. candidate in Geology/ENR under the tutelage of Drs. Barbara John and Michael Cheadle, and is a graduate teaching assistant for Cliff Riebe’s GEOL/ENR 1500 course titled “Water, Dirt, and Earth’s Environment.”  Lauren grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota and earned a B.A. in Geology and a minor in Archaeology in 2009 from Carleton College in Northfield, MN. She has studied geology and archaeology in Italy, Ireland, and Israel and hopes to learn more about international natural resource policies and challenges in the future.
