The Ruckelshaus Institute is a division of the Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources at UW.

Over 60 people attended our forum on Collaboration in Natural Resources in Lander to hear from national collaborative decision making experts and local natural resource managers engaged in collaborative processes.
The Forum on Conservation Finance brought experts from around the state and nation to speak about market-based approaches to fund conservation of air, water, habitat, and other values provided by open spaces on private lands in the West. Proceedings will be available in the coming months.
The Ruckelshaus Institute presents a roundtable of acclaimed natural resource leaders and collaborators. Alan K. Simpson, William D. Ruckelshaus and John F. Turner spoke about the value of collaboration in natural resource management in a conversation moderated by Michael J. Sullivan. A video of the roundtable is now available online.
The Ruckelshaus Institute facilitated the Upper Green River Basin Air Quality Citizens Advisory Task Force, which began meeting in February 2012 and has made recommendations to the state to reduce ozone levels.
