Advanced Negotiation Skills in Natural Resource Management
June 28-29 Jackson, WY (CLOSED)
Natural resource issues are inherently complex. They often involve a multitude of stakeholders with deeply held values, are data-intensive yet fraught with uncertainty, and are interlaced with quality of life and economic issues. Finding durable solutions can be difficult work. In this highly interactive, two-day workshop you will develop skills and confidence in negotiating complex, multi-party issues through work on preparation, communication, and analysis in negotiation settings. You will learn the internal and external architecture of the negotiation process, learn how to evaluate and prioritize negotiation options using an analytical approach, learn how move beyond positions and manage impasses in negotiation, and understand how to manage data and information in negotiation.
Workshop runs 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the first day and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the second day. Lunch is provided.
$375.00 for the two-day workshop |
