Beemer (above) spoke about the ways that Mozambicans have used their own magico-religious belief systems to understand the civil war war in their country. Representing a part of Beemer's thesis project, this presentation was delivered as the department's annual Graduate Student Colloquium, which aims to showcase the innovative research being conducted by students within the History Department.
