Brian Blumenfeld is an adjunct professor of law at the University of Wyoming Law School, and a Lecturer in the Department of American Studies where he teaches constitutional history and government. He received his J.D. and M.A.(American Studies) from Rutgers University in 2011, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Maryland. Brian has published legal and historical scholarship with the University of Virginia's Journal of Social Policy & the Law, and the Pepperdine Law Review. He is currently working on a manuscript that traces the origins of American federalism through the classical education of the Founding Fathers to the histories and political structures of Hellenistic Greece.
Brian's professional practice has taken him from the chambers of the U.S. Court of International Trade in New York City to the gardens and back offices of Colorado's marijuana industry. He now consults on a wide variety of legal and governmental affairs issues for marijuana businesses nationwide.
Brian lives in Grand Lake, CO and has been a volunteer first responder with Grand County Mountain Rescue since 2015.
