Future Energy

GE Energy is working with the University of Wyoming to develop an advanced gasification research and technology center in Wyoming. The center consists of a small-scale gasification system that will allow UW and GE Energy researchers to develop advanced coal gasification technology solutions for Powder River Basin and other Wyoming coals. The facility is being constructed at the intersection of Commerce Circle and Christiansen Road in East Cheyenne.
