Provides leadership and supervises and/or trains and coaches Cent$ible Nutrition Program Assistants, Cent$ible Nutrition Program Associates, and Cent$ible Nutrition Program Coordinators, or others in multiple counties; develops and presents educational program lessons pertaining to the Cent$ible Nutrition Program information such as nutrition, food preparation, food safety, and sanitation skills to qualified individuals and groups through federal programs; provides training to state agency personnel or others throughout regional area and the state; oversees program marketing; and prepares program reports, statistics, and maintains program records for assigned counties.
supervise and/or coach Cent$ible Nutrition Program Assistants, Cent$ible Nutrition Program Associates, and Cent$ible Nutrition Program Coordinators; recruit and train program individuals and groups at different facilities such as WIC, Best Beginnings, Head Start, Department of Family Services, Health Fairs and Senior Centers.
Prepare performance evaluations and/or make recommendations on employee issues.
Coordinate, manage and oversee the training presentations given by Cent$ible Nutrition Program Assistants, Cent$ible Nutrition Program Associates, and Cent$ible Nutrition Program Coordinators or others through program lessons and demonstrations at special facilities such as day care facilities, elementary schools, alternative high schools, senior centers and provide flexible and innovative ways to teach at these facilities under their rules and inspections and under different room setups and work environments.
Provide leadership and program guidance for the agency personnel and program participants; supervise referrals from multiple agencies and refer qualified participants to appropriate agencies; be knowledgeable about program information, processes, and records.
Maintain records and confidentiality on recruited individuals and families to comply with federal and Program reporting requirements.
Report problems of neglect, abuse, suicide, and the like directly to supervisor; discuss problem issues with supervisor and take appropriate action following program or agency guidelines, or when immediate danger is suspected, follow requirements of reporting incident immediately to the appropriate agency and advise supervisor of incident.
Coordinate, and teach monthly nutrition lessons; plan, develop and participate in special public relations events; chair, plan and/or participate in conferences/meetings and committees. Assist with development of curriculum at the state level.
Supervise program marketing through displays, one-time presentations to groups, radio and television advertising and programs, news articles and success stories, and contacts with multiple agency personnel.
Stay updated in nutrition by regularly attending in-service training via compressed video, teleconferences, videos, library research, conferences, staff meetings, and reading nutrition materials.
Provide leadership under state guidance for implementation of program needs (supplies, equipment, and lesson changes) and contribute to monthly newsletters.
Maintain program statistics, and provide reports; maintain supply and equipment purchase records.
Works in home/office/community center/detention center/and school environments. Regularly travels throughout designated county or counties; exposed to adverse weather conditions; subject to communicable diseases or health conditions; subject to hazards associated with food preparation and storage.
Cent$ible Nutrition Program Assistant provides, under general supervision, lesson preparation, training at alternate locations or facilities including schools and community centers, and provides nutritional program information and referrals based on needs of program participants and program rules and procedures, and reports program outcomes and expenditures in designated county(ies).
Cent$ible Nutrition Program Associate provides, under limited supervision, development of lessons, training at alternate locations and facilities including schools and community centers, and provides nutritional program information and referrals based on needs of program participants and program rules and procedures, reports program outcomes and expenditures in designated county(ies) and assists with program improvement.
Cent$ible Nutrition Program Coordinator under very limited supervision provides leadership, guidance and coaching to Cent$ible Nutrition Program Assistants and Cent$ible Nutrition Program Associates, assists with development of and participates in providing training covering multiple counties in the state to program participants or others according to program rules, regulations and procedures, develops and manages the marketing aspect for the nutrition program for the assigned areas, maintains program records, statistics, and expenditures, assists with program assessments, and provides input on program delivery.
Cent$ible Nutrition Program Coordinator, Senior provides leadership, guidance and supervision to Cent$ible Nutrition Program Assistants, Cent$ible Nutrition Program Associates, and Cent$ible Nutrition Program Coordinators, oversees development of and participates in providing training covering a large area throughout the state to program participants or others according to program rules, regulations and procedures, develops and manages the marketing aspect for the nutrition program for the assigned areas, maintains program records, statistics and expenditures, provides program assessments, supervises and evaluates work performance or coordinates bilingual program statewide and provides input on employee issues and program delivery.
