Provides guidance and strategies to accomplish specific sourcing and recruitment related goals and objectives. Performs sourcing to meet regulatory requirements and recruitment activities for specified positions. Advises on all stages from initial recruitment planning, effective applicant screening and interviewing techniques and documentation, and the hiring and onboarding of qualified candidates.
Coordinates military and diversity sourcing and recruitment programs. Identifies sourcing solutions, events, associations, and community outreach efforts to support staffing initiatives.
Assists job seekers and applicants with the recruitment process and actively participates in community outreach.
Facilitates applicant workshops, attends and coordinates job fairs.
Actively utilize social media to seek out and connect with active and passive job seekers.
Works in a collaborative manner with the recruitment team to manage outreach efforts to potential candidates and keep appraised of availability and potential job opportunities.
Develop and conduct associated training workshops.
Performs sourcing, hiring and retention of specified positions.
Identify recruiting opportunities by researching new sources for talent, networking with college placement officers, auditing recruitment data, and assisting with the growing support services needs of the recruitment departmentWork collaboratively with other departments to ensure coordination of program goals and tracking.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Effectively represent the University at events and other venues.
Keep abreast of trends, technologies and changes impacting university recruitment.
No major sources of discomfort, standard office environment; regular exposure to video terminal displays.
Must be able to lift and carry materials and backdrops for job fairs and other events.
Frequent travel may be required.
