Pre-Hire

The very first step of the hiring process is to identify a need. This does not necessarily need to be someone leaving either. If you can find the funding and approval for it you can hire for it.

The most important part of the pre-hire process is communication. It is CRUCIAL that before a requisition is complete, all appropriate individuals must be made aware of the hire and all details involved have been decided upon (ie. salary grade, position type, etc.).
