Time and Absences

Please Note! All time cards must be submitted and approved by the Payroll Deadlines to be paid on time.

All hourly and salaried non-exempt employees must enter their time via the HCM Timecards. Instructions for entering your time, including emergency leave, can be found in the Time / Absences Entry & Payroll Guides Knowledge Base

All employees, both salaried exempt and non-exempt, must report absences. Instructions for entering absences can be found on our Time / Absences Entry & Payroll Guides Knowledge Base.

Hourly non-benefited: All hourly non-benefited employees (who submit their hours on time) will be paid on a bi-weekly schedule. Meaning you will be paid the Wednesday after your time is due.

Everyone Else: All other employees (Benefited, Temporary Lecturers, GAs, etc.) will be paid on the last day of the month.

Time Card Plus is an alternative time card keeping program some of our departments use. Please do not use this program unless your department has asked you to do so. Instructions for this can be found on our Time / Absences Entry & Payroll Guides Knowledge Base.

It is the Department's Responsibility to ensure all employees are entering their time completely and correctly. You are expected to know whether an employee's time cards are correct and to manage them and absences accordingly.
