Exemption Information

If a position is coded "non-exempt":
The position is subject to the minimum wage and the FLSA Record Keeping Requirement (time sheets).

The position is eligible for overtime pay or compensatory time off for hours that are worked over 40 hours per week.

If the position is full-time, vacation is accrued at 10 days per year for the first 24 months of service, 16 days per year at the start of your 3rd year of employment, and 22 days per year at the start of your 7th year of employment.

If the position is part-time, vacation is accrued on a pro-rated basis according to the number of hours worked.

If a position is coded "exempt":
The position is not subject to the FLSA requirements.

The position is not eligible for overtime pay or compensatory time.

If the position is full-time, vacation is accrued at 22 days per year.

If the position is part-time, vacation is accrued on a pro-rated basis according to the number of hours worked.
