The Economics and Finance Department in the College of Business at the University of

Wyoming is interviewing candidates for a full time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Finance.

Minimum requirements: Applicants should have completed their doctoral degree in Finance or a related discipline or expect to complete it by August 2015. Applicants should have conducted research.

Prefer prior experience with teaching at either the undergraduate or graduate level. Although all fields will be considered, ability to teach entrepreneurial finance is also preferred. We desire a candidate with the potential to publish papers in top quality journals.

The position will involve research and teaching. The teaching may be undergraduate or graduate classes. The position may involve advising masters students on thesis as well. The teaching load is two courses per semester. The Department has three Master's programs in Finance, Economics, and Financial Economics. The Department also has a PhD program in Economics that includes a field specialization in Financial Economics. The College also has MBA programs.

Members of the department will attend and conduct interviews at the FMA meetings in Nashville, Tennessee. Arrangements can be made for qualified candidates not planning to attend.
