The University of Wyoming, School of Pharmacy offers a calendar year, non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice. The clinical practice site is located at Rose Medical Center and the Rose Family Medicine Residency Program in Denver, CO. Responsibilities include: 1) team teach didactic courses, 2) precept fourth year pharmacy students during ambulatory care rotations, 3) educate family medicine residents and faculty, 4) establish and maintain an advanced pharmacy practice within an outpatient family medicine clinic and 5) participate in academic service and scholarly activity. Candidates must be highly motivated to excel in teaching and pharmacy practice. Qualifications include a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited program and eligibility for pharmacy licensure in Colorado. Completion of a pharmacy practice residency (PGY1) or equivalent experience is required. Specialty residency (PGY2) or fellowship experience is preferred.

The School of Pharmacy is located about 2 ½ hours north of Denver in Laramie, Wyoming.
