PHARMACY PRACTICE FACULTY POSITION

In Ambulatory Care

Position # 1045

The University of Wyoming, School of Pharmacy offers a 11-month, non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor. The clinical practice site is located at Rose Medical Center in Denver, CO. Responsibilities include: 1) team teach didactic courses, 2) precept fourth year pharmacy students during ambulatory care rotations, 3) educate family medicine residents and faculty, 4) establish and maintain an advanced ambulatory care pharmacy practice, and 5) participate in academic service and scholarly activity. Candidates must be highly motivated to excel in teaching and pharmacy practice.

Qualifications include a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited program and eligibility for pharmacy licensure in Wyoming. Completion of a pharmacy practice residency (PGY1) or equivalent experience is required. Specialty residency (PGY2) or fellowship experience is preferred.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Applicants should submit a letter of intent describing teaching and clinical practice activities/goals, current curriculum vitae, and three letters of reference. The position is available as of January 2016. Review of applicant materials will begin February 24th, 2016 and continue until the position is filled.
