A postdoctoral position is currently available for a motivated experimentalist in the Department of Physics &; Astronomy, University of Wyoming. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in physics, materials sciences, or a closely related area and have experience in the synthesis of transition metal-doped oxide nanowires, fabrication of nanowire-based electronic devices, and characterization of their magnetic and electric properties using a variety of experimental methods. Preference will be given to those with demonstrated ability to carry out effective and productive research, demonstrated ability for effective communication with faculty, staff, and students, and experience in magnetotransport study in nanostructured materials and devices.
