The University of Wyoming Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering is seeking applicants for five positions: #5011, #5012, #5013, #5050 and #5051) These Post-doctoral Research Scientist Positions will conduct research in the area of multiphase flow in porous media making use of state-of-the-art numerical methods, high performance computing, and data visualization. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Computational/Applied Mathematics, Computational/Applied Physics, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related fields and experience in high performance computing and numerical simulations. Experience in large parallel computer program design and development is highly desirable. The successful candidates will be expected to work closely with graduate students and other research scientists in the research group and publish in scientific journals.
