The School of Energy Resources is seeking a full-time, benefited, lecturer position. Primary responsibilities will include: coordinating and teaching various undergraduate, energy related seminars and courses; organizing, developing and delivering K12 energy programs; recruiting and advising undergraduate students; organizing SER summer energy institutes for 9-12 students; organizing and implementing various competitive resource allocation initiatives; assisting the SER deputy director for academics in executing the academic strategic plan.
The candidate must have experience in grade 6-12 educational programs, program coordination and administration of academic programs; an understanding of inquiry-based teaching; and ability to independently develop and manage academic initiatives according to directed goals. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential. Experience in grant writing and knowledge of energy resources are preferred.

Master's degree in a STEM discipline or STEM-education field, and three years of appropriate experience. Experience in undergraduate teaching and K12 program development. Excellent interpersonal, administrative, written and verbal communication skills.
PhD degree in a STEM or STEM education discipline; experience in writing and administrating grants; K12 education program development; undergraduate student advising; academic program administration; and knowledge of inquiry-based teaching methods.
