What Matters to You?

Why We Do It:

    • Up to 100,000 patients die from medical errors each year mostly due to system error.
    • The US is ranked~30th for quality of health care system - great for acute care but not chronic conditions.
    • Medical system in the US is one of the most costly yet outcomes are poor despite this.
    • IHI provides tools to learn how to change this!
