We the People Grants for 2010


The first deadline for 2010 We the People Grants is November 1, 2009, and will continue monthly until all funds are expended. The Wyoming Humanities Council will award grants of up to $500 to nonprofit organizations and public agencies in Wyoming for field trips to museums and sites related to American history and culture.

Maximum funding: $500
Deadlines: Applications must be postmarked on or before the first of the month.
Grant period: November 1, 2009, and monthly thereafter until all funds are expended.
Decision making: Chairman of the grants committee and a member of the board of directors

Guidelines:

  1. Any nonprofit organization or government agency in Wyoming may apply.
  2. Projects must be humanities-based.
  3. We the People projects do not require cost share.

Eligible:

  • Field trips and related expenses, including admission fees and travel (mileage, lodging and meals).

Not eligible:

  • Purchase of equipment of food (other than travel expenses).
  • Projects that emphasize the creative process of the arts.
