Department Systems

The role of the Department Systems Unit is to provide technical support for systems which automate business processes for individual departments within the University of Wyoming. We also work with clients to develop new automated processes in support of their business processes and information needs.

Departments and systems currently supported are:

  • Residence Life and Dining Services
    • RMS - provides housing management resources
    • KRONOS - a work hour time keeping and reporting system
    • CBORD - a food management and menu/nutrition planning system used by Dining Services
    • Event Master - a catering menu and order management system
    •  IR Locks (SCHLAGE) - a building and room access management system
    • Peachtree - accounting applications for Res Life
    • MAXIENT - student judicial incident management for Res Life and the Office of the Dean of Students
    • RA Intranet - provides information sharing for Residence Advisors
    • Staff Intranet - provides information and data sharing for Res Life staff
  • Student Health Services
    • MEDICAT - student health records and practice management
    • CARDIOPERFECT - pulmonary diagnosis and analysis device support
    • Support for state and federal agency health reporting requirements
    • Data interfaces with other agencies and labs providing diagnostic services
    • Connectivity support for SRS Pharmacy Management System
  • Student Educational Opportunities
    • Data management support for TRIO and Gear Up grant programs
    • Federal program reporting support for TRIO programs
