AT&T Trimline Telephone

The Trimline is a basic telephone with  several convenience features, such as handset and ringer volume controls, flash and redial buttons, 3 one-touch memory buttons, 10 speed-dial numbers and lighted keypad. You can activate and deactivate standard calling features by using switchhook flash. This telephone replaces the 2500 as the standard telephone in the residence halls and university apartments. Students wishing to use their own telephone are welcome to do so, however, not all telephone sets are compatible with the University’s telephone system.

2500 - Basic Bell Telephone

The 2500 is gradually being replaced with the AT&T Trimline phone set in the residence halls and university apartments. The 2500 is a basic telephone without "bells and whistles." You can activate and deactivate standard calling features by using switchhook flash with the 2500.
