lynda.com Online Learning
Information Technology now has online training available for users across campus. This is an additional, more extensive option for users interested in self-paced training. The self-paced training can now be accomplished from any computer with an internet connection 24 hours a day, seven days per week. This online training option has a total of more than 1,100 courses and more than 67,000 tutorials organized by subject, software, and instructor. The courseware is designed for learners of all levels from beginner to expert and is free to UW employees and students.
If you are interested in accessing the self-paced training videos available on lynda.com, please email email@example.com. Once your account is set up, you will receive and email with logon instructions.
Once you have completed a course, you will have an opportunity to print a certificate of completion. If you send a copy of the certificate to firstname.lastname@example.org, the title will be added to your list of professional development classes that are tracked in the HRMS system.
If you have any questions about the courseware, contact Doug Roehrkasse at 766-2826, or email email@example.com.
