Reporting Fraud, Waste and Abuse of University Resources

The University is committed to the highest standards of ethical conduct and encourages employees and others to report any dishonest or improper act by an employee (i.e. that violates the law, wastes money, or endangers public health or safety).

All employees are encouraged to report suspected improprieties to their supervisor, or directly to a higher level if the supervisor is involved. If you are aware that a crime has been committed, you should report it immediately to University Police at 766-5179.

You have the following options:

Option 1: Report it to your supervisor

• Make your chain of supervision aware of the situation and give them a chance to solve or resolve it.

Option 2: If you are uncomfortable reporting to management or have already reported the incident and have not felt action was taken, you can report it directly to the Internal Audit Department through this online form.  The information you enter into the form will be submitted anonymously unless you provide your contact information.
