Before meeting with the Study Abroad Advisor consider these questions:

Why do I want to study abroad?

Where do I want to study abroad?

Would I like to learn a language?

What are my academic goals for going abroad?

 Application


The UW study abroad application can only be picked up in person at the Study Abroad Office upon your first meeting with the advisor.

Documents to accompany application:
    -an unofficial copy of your college transcript(s) from WyoWeb.
    -Essay
    -copy of your student ID card
    -proof of insurance which will cover UW minimums while you are overseas (Intl Student Insurance  Card)
    -$100 Application Fee

In addition to applying to the International Programs Office an application will be necessary to your Host Institution or Program Provider.  These will need to be approved by the Study Abroad Advisor.

VISA Application

It is the student's responsibility to obtain a visa for their country of study.  Information can be found at:
