The Global A& Area Studies Program is an interdisciplinary program using courses from across the seven colleges at UW to make up its curriculum. There are several courses, however, that have been developed within the program, and are taught by international studies core faculty. Two-year projections for international studies (INST) courses being taught are based on availability of faculty and program resources.
Most recently, we have partnered with Religious Studies to support an Arabic language program. Students can take up to five semesters of Arabic at UW, which will fulfill the language requirement for the international studies major.
