Endorsement in Adapted Physical EducationAn endorsement in Adapted Physical Education for Wyoming Public Schools is available to individuals who have completed or are in the process of completing a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education Teacher Education. In addition to the coursework required for a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education Teacher Education from the University of Wyoming, an individual must complete the following courses for an endorsement in adapted physical education in Wyoming:
EDEX 2484 (3 credits) Introduction to Special Education
preferably to be taken along with undergraduate coursework
KIN 4065 (3 credits) Resources in Adapted Physical Education
preferably to be taken along with undergraduate coursework
KIN 4075 (3 credits) Assessment in Adapted Physical Education
preferably to be taken when teaching
Individuals who have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education Teacher Education at another institution may be required to complete additional coursework as determined through a transcript analysis.
