Agrobiology Certificate
The certificate program to be offered by the University of Wyoming will require two semesters of
coursework. A Math placement score of at least 2, proof of English proficiency, a current passport and student visa will
be required for admission to the certificate program.
Spring Semester - 16 credits
- BIOL 1010 General Biology (SB) - 4 credits
- SOIL 2010 Ecology of Soils (SE) - 4 credits
- CHEM 1020 General Chemistry (SE) - 4 credits
- ENTO 1001 Insect Biology (SB) - 4 credits
Summer Semester - 1 credit
- AECL 4930 Agroecology Internship (10 hours/week at ACRES Student Farm) - 1 credit
Fall Semester - 16 credits
AECL 1000 Agroecology (SBG) - 4 credits
AGRI 1001 Critters and Communities (IL) - 2 credits
COJO 1010 Oral Communication (O) - 3 credits
MICR 2021 General Microbiology - 4 credits
USP Elective - 3 credits
