ABJ Law Diversity Pipeline

The Associate's + Bachelor's + JD (ABJ) Law Diversity Pipeline Program is designed for underrepresented students who follow a degree plan to earn an associate’s degree, transfer to UW to earn a bachelor’s degree, and then attend law school at UW.  Those in their final year of their studies for their associate's degrees are eligible to apply for the Pipeline Program admission.  Then, students admitted to this program are further eligible for automatic admission to UW College of Law as long as the mininum benchmarks are met.   Along with College of Law admission, students are awareded a minimal law scholarship of $10,000.

College of Law admission should be saught during the student's completing years of their bachelor's degree, through the standard admission process.  This includes the College of Law application, letters of recommendation of sufficient quality, a resume, and a personal statement.  The application should also demonstrate the good moral character required of all applicants.

Associate's Degree Completion

Earn a transferable associate’s degree.

Bachelor's Degree Completion

After transferring to UW, complete a bachelor’s degree in any area of study.

JD Completion

Complete a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree at UW.

We will be accepting applications for the Law Diversity Pipeline from February 1 - April 30, 2020.
