Program Requirements

Law Diversity Pipeline Program

Step 1: Apply for the Diversity Pipeline Program during your final semester of your associate's program.

Step 2: If admitted to the Pipeline Program, complete your associate's degree and transfer to UW to complete your bachelor's.

Step 3: While completing your bachelor's degree, apply to the UW College of Law through the standard application process.

Complete the UW College of Law application through the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) - also submitting your resume and personal statement.  Students who are accepted into the Law Diversity Pipeline program, and seek matriculation into UW College of Law as part of the program, will be granted a waiver of the UW law school application fee.

Register for and take the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT).  

Submit your transcripts and letters of recommendation through the Credential Assembly Service (CAS).


  • To obtain admission to UW College of Law through the Law Diversity Pipeline program, students must have a minimum cumulative undergraduate 2.8 GPA, and obtain an LSAT score of no less than 147.

  • In order to matriculate at UW College of Law, all applicants must be of good moral character and must maintain good moral character as a condition of continuing enrollment.

Step 4: If you meet the Pipeline Program's required Law School benchmarks, your College of Law Admission will also grant you a minimal $10,000 scholarship!
