The College of Law recognizes the importance of service in the legal profession. Along with teaching and research, service to the profession, the university, and the community is a benchmark of success identified in the college mission.
Student Legal Clinics
The College of Law offers four clinical programs: Defender Aid, Legal Services, Domestic Violence, and Prosecution Assistance. The clinical programs operate pursuant to Wyoming Supreme Court rules that permit third-year law students to practice law under the supervision of a UW law professor or Wyoming Bar member.
International Human Rights Practicum
The Center for International Human Rights Law and Advocacy within the University of Wyoming College of Law is dedicated to promoting global human rights through legal education, research and advocacy. The dual mission of the Center is to educate law students to address international legal problems and to protect human rights at home and abroad. The Center involves law students, faculty, pro bono attorneys and non-governmental organizations in its activities. The Center has worked on a diverse range of issues including asylum representation, international women's rights, international criminal law, aboriginal and minority rights, and economic and social rights.
Legal Research Services
Legal Research Services (LRS) is a non-profit student research group, and a Wyoming Corporation. Founded in 1979 to foster student learning, LRS is dedicated to providing legal research and writing to practicing attorneys from around the United States.
Continuing Legal Education (CLE)
CLE courses are offered periodically at the College of Law. The Wyoming State Bar Association provides online CLE courses and maintains a calendar of CLE events throughout Wyoming.

Wyoming Law Review
The Wyoming Law Review publishes articles written by practitioners and professors from throughout the country, as well as case notes and comments written by students attending the University of Wyoming College of Law.
