Amanda Gamblin is in her third year at the College of Law. Originally from Lompoc, California, Amanda graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.A. in English and a minor in Psychology. She is an avid surfer, former lifeguard, and loves all things related to the ocean. 

With a passion for helping the under-served, Amanda came to law school with the intention of working in one of the clinics. As a 2L, she was offered the student intern position with the Defender Aid Program. 

"Working in the Defender Aid Program reinforced my admiration for defense attorneys and showed me that this profession is how I could do my part to make our world a better place," she says. "I am proud to be the Student Director of this amazing clinic and so very proud of the work we do."

Amanda has also been extremely involved in other areas of the College of Law, serving on the Potter Law Club (PLC) Board as President for 2015.
