The University of Wyoming's joint degree program combining a Juris Doctor with a Master's of Arts in Environment and Natural Resources trains students to identify the quantitative and qualitative aspects of resource problems, navigate complex stakeholder networks, and think like a client. Through exposure to diverse ideas from economics, ethics, hydrology, political theory, wildlife biology, and more, students are invited to foster fresh approaches to environmental and natural resource questions.
Program Details:Students in this joint degree program must take 18 credits outside the law school in ENR courses, and must take 12 law school credits from a menu of ENR related law courses to qualify for this joint degree. Students in the joint degree program must also complete a supervised research project. In fulfillment of the J.D. degree, the College of Law will accept up to nine hours of graduate credit in courses approved by the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs.
