Legal Patchwork
 

The library has a display case across from the circulation desk that features different themes and displays throughout the year.  The display from January 2009 was entitled "Legal Patchwork" and featured several quilting squares created following patterns with legally or politically inspired names.

Courthouse Star and White House Steps were quilted by Wendy Hatch, the library's Accounting Associate.  Barrister's Block, Courthouse Square and Courthouse Steps were quilted by Joanne Gardner, the aunt of Tawnya Plumb (Electronic Services Librarian), and UW alumna.
