In May Choose Privacy Week will take place, sponsored by the American Library Association. We have chosen to celebrate it earlier, as the theme for our National Library Week activities. If you visit the library this week, you will be able to view a different display each day, each featuring a different privacy topic. The topics will include HTML Cookies, Redaction Software, and Facebook & Employers. At the end of the week there will be an overview of more privacy issues.
Submit a description of the ways in which you protect your privacy to lawref@uwyo.edu by noon on Thursday, April 12 in order to have your name entered in a contest for one of two gift certificates. Your response may be included in a display.
Stop in the library each morning of Library Week to get caffeinated! We will be offering free coffee each morning.
