To prepare for a quick day of exciting conversations about research literacies, you’ll need to complete these preliminary activities:
Identify a “revision ready” research project that you use in one of your classes. A revision-ready project is one that you plan to use again but would like to improve upon before implanting it next time. Print and bring with you at least one copy of the assignment prompt/description (and any additional materials that you use to help students understand the project, such as samples of previous work, grading rubrics, or planning worksheets.)
Please read at least ONE
of the two articles in advance of the conference, and be ready to talk about
how the article helps you think about possible revisions to the research
assignment prompt you'll bring with you to the conference.
