Many resources are available to University of Wyoming Faculty and Graduate Student Instructors:
The Ellbogen Center for Teaching and Learning (ECTL) offers many courses and assistance in curriculum design, approaches to course design, interactive teaching methods, online course design and delivery, and many more helpful tools.
The Science Initiative Learning Actively Mentoring Program (LAMP) offers training and assistance in engaging students in active learning approaches.
The Science and Math Teaching Center (SMTC) has over 50 years of experience in helping STEM teachers grow in their expertise and comfort as classroom instructors.
The NSF Partnership for Undergraduate Life Sciences Education (PULSE) is a vibrant community that offers networking opportunities among instructors committed to growing as instructors and mentors.
Many professional organizations also offer materials and support for instructors. For example, the Association for Biology Laboratory Education offers many resources such as conferences and grants. We support the professional development of all members of our instructional team.
