Bénédicte Sohier is a native of Brussels, Belgium. She holds Bachelor degrees in both French and Geography, as well as a Master’s degree in French Literature. In addition to her teaching duties, Mrs. Sohier is currently the French graduate assistants’ teaching coordinator and serves as the Director of a summer study abroad program in Caen, France. She presents at numerous conferences across the state and country, and holds La Table Française, a conversation group that meets on a weekly basis. For the past three summers, she has worked as French Literature Teacher and Assistant Director of the French Academy for the Middlebury-Monterey Language Academy (MMLA).
