Dr. DeLozier takes an interdisciplinary approach to the cultures of ancient Rome and Greece.   Her training included the Pylos Regional Archaeological Project in Messenia, Greece; the Eric P. Newman Graduate Seminar in Numismatics at the American Numismatic Society in New York; the Classical Summer School at the American Academy in Rome; and doctoral research at the University of Cambridge under the supervision of Professor Mary Beard.  In 2007 she received a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities to participate in the Roman religion seminar at the American Academy in Rome.  Her undergraduate work in theatre, film, and radio underpins her current interests in the reception of Greco-Roman themes in world cinema and Anglo-American theatre.
