Biography

Mark Person is a native of Cheyenne, Wyoming. While completing his graduate studies at Rutgers University, he also served as Director of their Summer Program in Konstanz, Germany. He has concentrated his studies on 19th century German poetry, particularly the work of Heinrich Heine. He has read papers on Heine, Schiller and 19th century Realism at national conferences in the U.S. In addition to his teaching duties, he also is the Director of the Language Lab. His interests include fly-fishing and motorcycling.
