Organisms Introduced in this Lab: 

• Escherichia coli: G- bacilli (rod) - small, prokaryotic rod (1μm X 2μm) 
• Saccharomyces cerevisiae: (yeast) - eukaryotic sphere (oval), larger, up to 6μm. 
• Bacillus subtilis: G+ bacilli - prokaryote, small rod
