Please read Chapter 5 of the textbook, up to and including Section 5.4 (which is the
last section in the textbook you will be responsible for).
Please bring a blank Large Blue Examination Booklet to the final exam.
You will also be required to present a photo id card to the instructor.
The exam will be held on Tues May 2, 1:15-3:15pm in our usual classroom (EN 2070).
You are also permitted a 'cheat sheet' (one side of an 8.5 by 11 inch sheet of
paper with your handwriting) and a calculator. A Sample Exam is now available
through the link below.
I will be out of town next week. During my absence you may try to contact me by
email regarding administrative issues, but please refer all content-related questions to
Dan May, Ross Hall 245. He expects to hold office hours on Mon May 1, 2-4pm; Tues May 2,
10am-12noon. He is a competent instructor, has experience with this course, and would be
happy to answer questions for you.
Please remember that you are expected to be on class on time 1:20pm, and you should not expect
to leave before 2:35pm. During class your conversation should be limited to class discussion
