Eric Moorhouse is a native of Toronto, Canada. He obtained his BSc (1980), MSc (1984) and PhD (1987) from the University of Toronto. During 1980-83 he taught secondary school in rural Nigeria under CUSO. He spent 1987-89 in postdoctoral research at the University of Oregon. Since 1989 he has been a faculty member in mathematics at the University of Wyoming.
 
During the 2009-2010 academic year, Eric is on sabbatical leave at the University of Delaware.
