International Graduate Students

Admission to graduate programs at the University of Wyoming is competitive. Each program has its own admission requirements, application processes and deadlines. As such, you MUST contact your graduate program directly to inquire about their specific requirements and processes. Some programs admit new graduate students to start in the Fall semester only.

In addition to completing your academic program's requirements, all prospective international graduate students must also include the following:

1. OFFICIAL ACADEMIC TRANSCRIPTS
2. FINANCIAL STATEMENT
3. ENGLISH PROFICIENCY

Wyoming high school graduates benefit from one of the lowest in-state tuition rates of any four-year institution in the country, and UW’s nonresident tuition also is among the lowest in the nation. More than 55 percent of UW students graduate with no student debt.

International Students and Scholars

International Students and Scholars (ISS) offers more than just direct support to students on the F or J visa category by assisting with advising on immigration matters. We also work hard to provide a welcoming environment for the international community in Laramie, and provide a wide range of workshops and outreach services to the University of Wyoming.
