1. Must have a completed Declaration of Jazz Emphasis Form on file with Dr. Scott Turpen.
2. Set up a ten-minute jazz jury with the jazz faculty following completion of jazz curriculum and before graduation.
3. Content:
   • Demonstration of any of the following scales: all modes, diminished, ascending melodic minor, minor/major pentatonic, and whole-tone.
   • The jury committee will select 3 pieces from the repertoire list.
   • The student will select 2 pieces from the repertoire list.
