Rehearsals begin for High Plains Sinfonia, UWSP Ensemble and Advanced Chamber Ensemble. Schedule and location remain the same.
Tuesday, January 15 – Beginners, 2nd Year Classes, Private lessons

Monday, January 28 – High Plains Sinfonia Auditions for new members
Auditions will be held between 6:30-7:00 and after 8:15. Interested 6th – 9th graders are invited to participate in the rehearsal as well. Contact Jim Przygocki, at 766-3335 or przygcki@uwyo.edu to schedule an audition.
Week of March 18-22 – NO CLASSES, Spring Break

VIVA LA VIOLA! – A special day of viola clinics and performances in Ft. Collins, CO. Contact your private teacher to participate.
Tuesday, April 30 – 3+ year students, Rehearsals for Solo Recitals
Dress rehearsals for solo recitals: 3:30, 4:30 or 5:30, Location TBA.
10 students per hour, sign up for a time with your private teacher.
Solos must be memorized.

Playing exams begin at 9:00 am in the Fine Arts Building. Sign up in your group classes. Exact location and time TBA.
Monday, May 6 – High Plains Sinfonia and UWSP Ensemble - Rehearsal
7:00 – 8:30 p.m. dress rehearsal in UW Fine Arts Concert Hall for all ensembles
Tuesday, May 7 – 1st and 2nd Year classes - Rehearsal
4:00-5:00 p.m. dress rehearsal for all Beginning and 2nd Year classes, UW Fine Arts Concert Hall

Thursday, May 9 – Final Concert for all UW String Project students, Fine Arts Concert Hall
6:10 All students - arrive and unpack

6:20 Rehearsal in the Concert Hall
7:00 UWSP Final Concert UW Fine Arts Concert Hall
The final concert marks the end of the spring semester for all classes, ensembles and lessons. Information regarding summer study will be available before the final group concert.
